This type of bearings is mainly used to c carry radial loads, and at the same time can also carry a certain amount of axial loads. The raceway of the outer ring of the type is spherical. So it has self-aligning property. But anyway its angular misalignment does not exceed 1’~2.5′. This type of bearings has big carrying capacity, but must be operated in low speed rotation.
The spherical roller bearings have cylindrical bore and tapered bore. The tapers of the tapered bore are 1:12(type 153000 or type 113000) and 1:30(type 4453000) respectively. In order to improve the lubricating property of bearings, a lubricating groove turned in the outer ring with three lubrication holes is available.
